Why have a DJ at your collection's debut when you can have a whole concert? Violet Valen of Buddy Society, best known for her teddy bear-themed apparel, is paring the debut of her new pieces (available to purchase) with live performances by Puro Instinct, Diva Dompe, and Vex Ruffin, plus a "girls only" set by Peanut Butter Wolf, Dam-Funk and Michael Stock of Part Time Punks. The event takes place this Saturday from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Highland Park Ebell Club. Tickets are only $10 and there will be plenty of drinks and food available. (Laist)
