It's no secret that the real estate market is extremely volatile, and it looks like the designers at Milan Fashion Week have taken this anxiety to the runway. While the worries are very very real, the fashion interpretations are pretty funny, in a vaguely morbid take-your-stuff-with-you-at-all-times way. Check out the shag carpet skirt at Pringle of Scotland, the wallpaper print Marni dress, the tapestried jacket at Prada; plus D&G showed a tufted chair look and a tassel-decorated waist! Seems like no one is leaving home at, erm, home. Hey, if your living room is comfortable, why not take it with you?
