Video: A Noir Tour of Hedi Slimane’s Must-See MOCA Exhibit

We hope you've already taken a visit to the Hedi Slimane's beautiful
California Song
exhibition at the MOCA Pacific Design Center. Since it closes on Sunday, you're sort of running out of chances. But it doesn't matter if you'll miss the show or have already been, Commonwealth Projects' new video covering the mini-retrospective is a wonder to watch no matter how familiar you are with the former Dior Homme designer's photographic work. Starting off with a little billboard watching on darkened L.A. streets, the vid takes a tour of the exhibit's opening night – featuring local heroes No Age – using Slimane's noir, silver-and-black shooting style. It's a good reminder to get yourself down to the PDC this weekend. (Hint)
