If there are two consecutive words that cause an immediate quickening of our pulse, they are “warehouse” and “sale.” It’s instinct, right? Something about our competitive nature means we'll go to great lengths to come home with a pair of designer pumps at 70% off, diving into the fray to get to the size 9s first. It's all part of the experience — waking up before the sun rises, waiting in line for hours with strangers, and, yes, racing toward the crazily discounted treasures before anyone else has a chance at 'em.
D.C. doesn't to participate in the warehouse sale brouhaha too often, so we're counting down the minutes until the 7th annual Alexandria Boutique Warehouse Sale on Saturday.
