A Carnival-Themed Trunk Show? Yes, We're Okay With That

The only thing that gets us more excited about a day of shopping is the mention of a free updo to go along with it. Complimentary cocktails and free cotton candy won’t hurt either. (Cue our inner child, jumping up and down for joy). This Saturday, The Edit boutique is teaming up with salonblonde to present a carnival-themed afternoon of style and beauty in Bucktown. The Edit combines the prestige of Michigan Avenue with the personality you’d expect from a Bucktown boutique. Have a thing for colorful jeans? M2F Brand Denims will be showcasing its blooming collection of individually dyed jeans, which come in every color of the rainbow. If you have your soul set on vintage, check out Wildfox Couture’s American vintage-inspired collection featuring flirty, fun T-shirts, and punk-meets-chic dresses. As you browse through the designer collections (and head back for a second round of cotton candy) salonblonde will be on hand to provide free braided updos. RSVP to rsvp@boldfacechicago.com for the ultimate fashion fair, Bucktown style.
When: Saturday, May 19, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; salonblonde will be present from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: The Edit, 1917 North Damen Avenue (between Cortland & Homer streets); 773.252.3350
