One of our favorite highly caffeinated haunts is getting in the spirit of Irish-style imbibing a day early: On Friday morning, Georgetown's Baked & Wired is giving away free 5-ounce flights of Guinness from 6:59 a.m. to 10 a.m. That's right — a.m. As in before you go to work, and maybe even before you've had your morning latte.
If a pre-work shot of the Irish stout isn't exactly your cup of tea, you can stick with the shop's out-of-this-world coffee and scoop up a car-bomb cupcake or a clover-shaped Rice Krispies treat to go with it. Either way, you'll be feeling pretty good before the weekend even gets started.
