The woman behind Hannah's plaid shirts and Shoshanna's peace sign snuggies says that her own fashion line isn't off the cards. "Never say never," Jenn Rogien told
in an interview this week.
Jenn mines vintage and thrift stores like Beacon's Closet and Amarcord Vintage to kit out the show's protagonists—so it's hard to imagine how she'd approach the task of creating a collection of brand new threads.
"With fashion designers I really admire how it all comes from their mind. I'm more of a storyteller, I love making things," she admitted.
While we don't doubt that making the switch to fashion design would be a change in gear for Jenn, given that she started out as a chemical engineering undergrad we're pretty sure her versatile talents could cope with the switch. After all, she's built her rep on an ability to put real fashion on screen in a way that's entirely believable—so perhaps she's better placed that most when it comes to understanding what real twenty-somethings want in their wardrobes. Just as long as this doesn't include Shoshanna's velour leisurewear...
