Something major is about to go down on Downton Abbey. Finally, you cry! Season 4 hasn’t been quite the joyride from reality that we’ve come to expect from this TV show, but that's about to change. ITV has withheld preview tapes of tomorrow’s episode — a practice the network has exercised before, in episodes when Matthew Crawley and Lady Sybil died respectively.
Plus, there is a new bad-boy valet in town in the form of ex-Eastender Nigel Harman, whose character Green is said to “stir things up” for the inhabitants of Downton. If that wasn't enough, there is also a new love interest for Lady Mary in the form of Tom Cullen, which is bound to set tongues wagging.

If we’re honest, this injection of melodrama drama couldn’t arrive soon enough; the show has been lacking those infamous cliffhangers that keep us guessing and debating all week.
