Sigur Ros, Vampire Weekend, & More Shows To Catch This Week

1

Sigur Rós, Tim Hecker: Madison Square Garden, March 25, $56
When it comes to awe inspiring, soul expanding, immaculately beautiful pop, it's hard to find another band that does as good a job as Iceland's Sigur Rós. Hearing the band's music swell from the stage of Madison Square Garden should truly be something to behold. Also, the chance to see decidedly non-commercial drone experimentalist Tim Hecker open the show will be an unlikely treat as well.

Monday, March 25, 7 p.m., Madison Square Garden, 2 Penn Plaza (between 7th and 8th avenues); 212-465-6741.
