WHIT Debuts Another Knock-Out Collection

Long gone are the sun-drenched days of yesteryore (although Sunday's sun was a trip). Not gonna lie—while we've been adding and adding to our Holiday wishlist, we're also greedily poring over the spring '11 lookbooks that don't seem to stop landing on our desks. One of the best of the bunch has got to be WHIT's sophomore collection, the brainchild of Brooklyn-based designer Whitney Pozgay. Insert a thought-bubble overhead and add bikinis and an icy margarita. Comprised of 19 looks, WHIT's offerings are inspired by '60's beach blanket films and Pozgay's sun-drenched Californian memories. Geometric patterns, tribal prints, and Brigitte Bardot meets Beach Boys meets Goldie Hawn style influences viably round out the tone, plus a smattering of tie-dye touches and dandy bows add WHIT's specialty touch of chuckles to the pieces. Our top pick? An unbelievably gorg tribal sheath, versatile enough to take from work to drinks with the girls. Strawberry margarita, anyone?
R29 GIVEAWAY: Want to score one of WHIT's whimsical pieces? Duh! One lucky reader will hit the jackpot and win the Rae tee, a navy flower-print cropped shirt perfect for beach crawling come summertime. Just post the name of your favorite iconic gal (e.g. Audrey, Frida) on our Facebook page in the WHIT thread and we'll choose our fave.
