Winter Hats—With rumors abounding that we lose copious amounts of heat through our heads, the only practical solution is to cover them up. The first step is to conquer fear of hat hair, and given the wonders of winter fashion, you can now have a hat that's just as cute as your hair-do. From cable knits to pom-poms (an emerging trend for the season) to furry trapper hats; from Olsen-esque baggy beanies to the classic trilby or the more feminine, folksy flop hats, stylish headgear will have you relishing bad hair days.

Winter Gloves—You can shove your hands in your pockets as deep as they'll go, but you can't have warm extremities without a pair of gloves or mittens. Knits and leather endure, but this season welcomes fun embellishments like studs, bows, and yep, you guessed it, more pom-poms! We're loving elbow-length gloves in contrasting textures, they're like an extra set of sleeves, and fingerless gloves are a must have for the techy savvy text fiend. Worried those fingerless babies wont be warm enough? Never fear, there's a whole array of 'pop-over' gloves on offer so that you can have the best of both worlds.
