In case your "Important Dates in Dancing with the Stars History" calendar hasn't arrived yet, yesterday marked Maksim Chmerkovskiy's 37th birthday. Brother Val honored the occasion with a slew of old family photos posted to social media. Fiancée and baby mama Peta Murgatroyd, meanwhile, opted to share some new family photos.
Murgatroyd, who gave birth to the couple's first child on January 4, posted two photos alongside an emotional tribute to the birthday boy. One pic shows the loved-up dance pros hamming it up in a selfie; the other is more frame-worthy, with the new father cradling son Shai Aleksander in his arms.

"To my best friend...my partner, for the remainder of the most incredible years to come," Murgatroyd wrote. "You are forever the light that makes my soul ignite, you're the textbook definition of my true soulmate. I never believed in one until I met you. My love for you is never-ending.
"And to the best father in the world, Happy Birthday, Shai is so fortunate to have you as his guardian and protector for life," she continued. I see you with him and cry with the amount of love that is in your eyes. Our love for you is for eternity, forever the three of us are together."
