Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone," released in 1965 and recently named by Rolling Stone as the greatest song of all time, finally has an official music video. It'd be something of a misnomer to call it a mere "video," though. It's actually an interactive module that emulates a TV, with 16 channels and characters from various genres, lip-synching to Dylan's famous song. On one channel, it's a reality show. On another, it's a cooking show.
The video comes from the mind of 27-year-old Israeli director Vania Heymann, who worked with the Israeli media company Interlude to create the module. "I'm using the medium of television to look back right at us — you're flipping yourself to death with switching channels [in real life]," Heymann told Mashable.
How this relates to the song's Miss Lonely, who once dressed so fine and now must scrounge for her next meal, is unclear. As a concept, however, it's unique. We've never seen anything else like it. (Rolling Stone)
