With geodes galore up her sleeve, graphic designer Paige Smith is far from your average graffiti artist. We recently spotted these glittering gems of avenue art on Abbot Kinney in Venice, and had to find out who was behind 'em!
Paige painstakingly puts the puzzle pieces of her earthy objects in nooks and crannies about town (each takes about three weeks to complete!), and has had to learn the hard way that her installations can only be temporary due to weather (rain = erosion), and (can you believe it?) theft. Keep your eyes peeled as these neat street pieces have been popping up all over Lala land (a friend spotted another at Spring Street, between 7th and 8th, downtown)!
