This Is Our Jam: jj, "No One Can Touch Us Tonight"

Before jj released tracks recontextualizing Weezy and Dr. Dre as Balearic pop stars, they appeared from the Swedish ether repping a quieter, more dreamlike swagger. With “No One Can Touch Us Tonight,” jj return to the Saint Etienne-indebted new age of their earliest releases and find themselves back in the the countryside after a weekend in the city. As always, jj maintain a glamorous yet sinister undercurrent that peeks out occasionally from beneath the warm strings and loping melody. Two years after dropping "My Life, My Swag" the duo still lives up to that song's title. More please.
