This Is Our Jam: Dinowalrus, “What Now” (NSFW)

pete
Earlier this year, Brooklyn rockers Dinowalrus released their quite-good sophomore record Best Behavior, which shed their no-wave influences in favor of Madchester dance, Balearic flourishes, and big hooks. “What Now” features Patrick Stickles of Titus Andronicus, and serves up one of the more guitar-heavy cuts on the album. Though it’s more Stone Roses than Happy Mondays, Dinowalrus keep things tropical for the video, which stars a young woman frolicking in the ocean and frontman Pete Feigenbaum rocking out in less beach-appropriate attire. You can check out the video below, and download the more dance-oriented “Phone Home From The Edge (E Is For Edge Version)” as well.

New York fans can see Dinowalrus play Shea Stadium tomorrow night in Bushwick.
