Beaches, horses, and men in collared shirts. It kind of sounds like the start of a steamy romance novel or our ideal summer in the Hamptons, except it's not a book; it's the Maserati Miami Beach Polo World Cup. (As if that combination of words doesn't immediately have us pretending to be Blair Waldorf...) This event brings polo's top men's and women's teams together to fight to the death — well, maybe not to the death, but certainly fame, fortune, and those amazing hats are all at stake.
And don't expect this to end with just a bunch of polo matches. Entertainment will include a nighttime fashion show by La Martina and Blank Silk created by Meghan Walsh, the daughter of John Walsh, the host of America's Most Wanted. Plus, a polo shirt created by La Martina for Maserati will be on sale at the La Martina tent. Festivities run from April 26 to April 29, so get ready to bust out the Champagne. Ticket pries vary.
