Watercolor Marketplace’s Dog-Centric Bags Hit Luna Boutique

As you can tell by this whole article devoted to the matter, we're sort of obsessed with the uber-adorable shop dogs that run around some of our favorite local boutiques. Therefore, we were hyped to hear that local watercolor artist Lydia Faiella of Faiella Designs has just dropped off a shipment of 100% organic totes illustrated with local pup Luna, the namessake of the Presidio Heights boutique, at the shop. And that's not the only mascot-themed tote Faiella has under her belt. It seems she's also the artist responsible for the shaggy pup totes ($26 for large, $19 for small) at the much-beloved Ferry Building eatery Boulette's Larder. Why pooches? "I love to capture the realistic features of the dogs with a little whimsy thrown in," Faiella told us. Like what you see? Be sure to head over to either location, plus Faiella's online shop, and if you want a wearable portrait of your own doggy, the local fine artist also accepts custom orders. Speaking of Luna, be sure to check out our exclusive 50% off Reserve, which runs through this Thursday, August 4th, and entitles shoppers to $75-$250 off the final receipt!
