Settling down isn’t exactly at the top of your agenda in August. With planets toasting your people-loving 11th house, you want to meet as many interesting souls as you can. Guilt-free dates — the kind that end at a 24-hour diner after dancing ‘til dawn — get the thumbs up. Digital dating could bring some lucky right swipes, too. On the 4th, a long-distance crush heats up or you could have an exhilarating vacation fling. Rebels, rock stars, revolutionaries — you’ll melt for people who live by their own rules. And, with your ruler, Venus, retrograde all month, an old pal could pop up, professing a long-standing crush. Let the lines blur a little, but only if you know that you can both keep it casual.
If you are in a relationship, give yourself some space. You’ll feel claustro’ if you’re joined at the hip. The remedy? Socialize more as a couple, and co-host a party together before the 24th. August is perfect for merging your friend groups.
Your Beauty Forecast: Glimmering Gold

To get the look, start by applying foundation, concealer, and setting powder. Once your base makeup is in place, blend gold, glittery cream shadow from your lashline to your crease. (For extra control, pour out a little product onto the back of your hand, and use a tapered brush to apply it.) Switch to another glittery cream shadow in a deeper bronze shade, and brush the product along your lashline and over the center of your lid. Contour just under your cheekbones with bronzer. Then, add highlighter atop the cheekbones and down the bridge of your nose. Finish with nude lip gloss.
