Lana Del Rey, Snoop Dogg, And Other Rad Shows To Catch This Week

Lana Del Rey, Bowery Ballroom, December 5, $16.45
Lana Del Rey has infatuated the internet for the latter-half of 2011 with her vintage aesthetic, self-made videos, and sultry vocals. Now’s the chance to see Lana’s official United States debut (not counting her secret show at Glasslands), and witness the enigmatic chanteuse in the flesh.
Monday, December 5, 6 p.m., Bowery Ballroom, 6 Delancey Street (between Bowery and Chrystie); 212-533-2111.
Hooray For Earth, Woodsman, Prince Rama, Public Assembly, December 8, $10
An eclectic lineup featuring multiple variations on trippy new-new age pop headlined by the excellent synthpop outfit Hooray For Earth. This could get psychedelic, but leave your tie-dye shirts and dream catchers at home.
Thursday, December 8, 8:30 p.m., Public Assembly, 70 North 6th Street (between Kent and Wythe avenues); Brooklyn; 718-384-4586.
!!!, Friends, MNDR (DJ Set), 285 Kent, December 11, $10
Dance punk OGs !!! have been one of the most consistently fun live bands for the past decade. Here’s your chance to watch them blow the roof off Williamsburg DIY haven 285 Kent. Supporting is buzz-band-of-the-moment Friends, and a DJ set from MNDR. Another reason to go: proceeds benefit Showpaper, an awesome community funded zine that helps get the word out about all-ages shows.
Sunday, December 11, 8 p.m., 285 Kent, 285 Kent (between South 2nd and South 1st streets), Brooklyn.
Up for more? Here are some bonus shows:
