Former S.F. resident Edie Meidav is stopping back through town this week to promote her new novel, Lola California, based on an intense female friendship birthed in Berkeley in the '80s. It only makes sense then, that Meidav is setting up shop at Mrs. Dalloway's in the East Bay Thursday night to read from her New Yorker-approved book in what will be one of a few S.F. appearances. Meidav will follow this up with a stop at Book Passage in the city on August 4, and at the Makeout Room's Writers with Drinks series on August 6.
