In our world, amazing personal style trumps professional fashion help (i.e., The Stylist) any day of the week. Unless of course, we're talking about super-stylist Heidi Bivens who never fails to impress and inspire us with her fun-meets-elegant sensibility. When she's not contributing to Vogue and Purple Magazine, the New York-based Bivens travels the globe often, keeping everyone from Chloë Sevigny and Charlotte Gainsbourg on their style game. And occasionally, she even gets to galavant for pleasure, which she did this winter with her man-friend actor Justin Theroux in Kauai, Hawaii. "There is so much to do on the island," Bivens says. "Hike, stand-up paddle board, surf, horseback riding, biking, snorkling. Basically, Kauai rules." Dreaming about faraway vistas ourselves these days, we asked her to share some snaps from her adventure.
