Happy Lunar New Year, all! Today ushers in the year of the horse, or, according to this dating personality chart compiled by Match.com, the year of type-A planners. Based on a survey of 1,184 Canadian singles, the matchmaking website has created a dating horoscope based on what your Chinese zodiac sign reveals about your dating personality. As we've seen in the case of Horses (1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002), the news isn't always good.
The major sign to avoid seems to be the Dragon (1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012). This "aloof lover" likes to play it cool, while a Ram (1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003) is a loyal mate who'll stick with you forever. Though their names might suggest otherwise, Rats and Snakes actually make decent catches. Rats (1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008) tend to favor long-distance relationships, while food-obsessed Snakes (1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013) are likely to take you out for a fancy gourmet meal. Don't mind if we do!

Fun-loving Rabbits (1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011) are all about YOLO-ing, Tigers (1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010) dig spontaneity, and Oxen (1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009) are optimistic and have a zest for life. Monkeys (1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004), meanwhile, are fans of old-school romance, and Roosters (1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005) go in for vanity and style.
That leaves Dogs (1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006), who trust their immediate instincts and tend to date more than one person at a time (sounds about right), and Pigs (1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007), who like to make a move on the first date. We've got our eye on you guys! (Toronto Sun)
