Calling All Craziness: This NY1 Dial-In Is Bonkers!

"You can’t expect us to live by the same rules we dictate to other people for heaven’s sake! Just because people like me are against stop-and-frisk in places like Brooklyn and Queens and Staten Island doesn’t mean we don’t want it to continue in Manhattan! I mean: Manhattan is special. We are New York! Brooklyn and Queens and Staten Island, I….I don’t even like talking about those kinds of places!" Scary, but true: These are the words "Joan, Upper West Side," uttered when she called into NY1's "The Call" on Wednesday night to share her two cents on the mayoral race. The all-too-candid caller got heated as she explained how she used to support current poll favorite, Bill de Blasio, until she met him at an event and heard his stance on stop-and-frisk in, you guessed it, Manhattan. "Joan" ranted until she was abruptly cut off by flabbergasted show host John Schiumo. We give Schiumo credit for keeping (mostly) cool under the circumstances, but what say you? Would you have managed to prevent your head from exploding? Feel free to comment (but not call in!) below. (BuzzFeed)
