Over here in the R29 offices, we've got a lot of reasons for loving the Brooklyn-based band Chairlift. We love their songs, we love their synths, and we love lead singer Caroline Polachek's style (it could also be noted that certain writers here simply love her... ahem). We've been waiting at the edge of our seats (is that a pun?) for their next album, Something, and, today, we've finally gotten a chance to stream it thanks to our station of choice, KCRW. While we're not done digesting it all, it's clearly a step up from their already tunefully addictive past work.
