Ahh the NME awards. The debauchery, the mayhem, and the rock-'n'-roll glamour...what's not to love?
But fortunately, this year, Florence Welch brought a touch of elegance and decorum to the proceedings with her pre-fall velvet-and-chiffon Christopher Kane gown and Sorellina cocktail ring.
She concealed as much as she revealed, but she commanded every single eye on the red carpet and inside in the Troxy, when she collected her two awards for Best Solo Artist and Best Dancefloor Anthem. In fact, we might just use her as inspiration for our own red-carpet appearances...you know, the next time we’re nominated for an NME award. Just need to write that multi-platinum album first.
