Here at R29, we're always on the hunt for good music. From artists we've never heard of to tracks we somehow managed to miss, our ears (and iPods!) are constantly yearning for new tunes. As soon as one festival ends, we're on to the next. Which is why Northside Festival is permanently marked into our calendars.
From June 13 to 20, Brooklyn will be home to a bevy of events celebrating film, art, entrepreneurship, and, of course, music. More specifically, Northside will be hosting two free outdoor concerts on June 15 and 16 with an incredible lineup featuring The Walkmen (in their only NYC show of 2013, we might add), Phosphorescent, Solange (just announced!), and many others. Free tickets are first come, first served, while music badges and single-show tickets will guarantee entry into your performance of choice. So don't wait — over 350 bands are calling.
