A NorCal Boutique Owner Shows Off Her Cool Style & Store

You know those shops that have you fawning over every item from the moment you step inside? Well, that’s the East Bay’s newest boutique, Social Studies. The sleek, architectural displays, which playfully showcase indie home and clothing goods, provide for instant fashion inspiration and give off a real "come and buy this!" vibe.

The store’s cool selection is the work of Lauren Woodward, a former gallery curator, who's created a retail oasis that's entirely zen and sure to appeal to all kinds of tastes. So, naturally, we had to invite ourselves in to see what’s brewing at Social Studies and get the fashion lowdown from one of the Bay’s most incredible new shopkeepers.
