Sure, a $10,000 tip may seem extravagant, but when attached to a $32,000 dining bill, it's probably much more reasonable. Thus is the (lucky, lucky) fate of the team at West End restaurant Marcel's. Last week, the staff played host to a group of high-roller guests who racked up a bill so astronomical, it would give Jay-Z a run for his money. The resto posted the receipt on its Facebook page (you can head there to debate whether this was appropriate or not), and Washingtonian caught wind it.

What exactly did this party of nine order, you might ask? The evening included thousands of dollars worth of Bordeaux wine and a bevy of tasting menus. Now sure, we've had our fair share of foodie splurges, but mostly, we're plenty happy munching on a classic grilled cheese sammie — and can't imagine that this five-figure meal was really worth the price.
