Elizabeth Banks Just Dissed Tara Reid

Tara Reid might not want to read the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter.  The latest copy features an interview with Pitch Perfect 2 director and actress Elizabeth Banks, who managed to work in a little shade towards the American Pie star.  "There was a group of us girls coming up," the 41-year-old star said when asked about actresses losing parts when they reach a certain age. "A lot of us are surviving. Some of us are not. I used to go to auditions with Tara Reid. So, you know, we didn't all make it. We're not all still here."   Banks followed that up with this backhanded compliment: "I do love Sharknado." While Banks isn't wrong that her career has flourished more than others', it's hard to not feel sympathetic to Reid. Of course, that's nothing a cameo role in the next Pitch Perfect couldn't resolve.
