There's nothing better than a candid A-list interview. Not only do we get personal insight into the lives of our favorite stars but their frank honesty brings these very glamorous people down to earth. And, surprisingly, it doesn't get more real than Scarlett Johansson, who recently championed the possible benefits of pornography. Yep, you heard that right.
The 28-year-old actress spoke openly about her love life in an interview with Marie Claire U.K. Echoing the sentiments expressed by her most recent character, Barbara, in Don Jon, Johansson, said: "If I found out my boyfriend watched that much porn I would be totally flabbergasted, for sure." A possible warning to her fiancé, Romain Dauriac, maybe?
But, quick to turn around the social taboos often associated with watching porn, Johansson followed up with, "But, I think porn, like anything else, can be enjoyed. It can be productive for both men and women." Cheek reddening stuff, for sure, but maybe it’s the refreshing break many need to finally accept that this so-called “habit” isn’t so reprehensible, after all? (The Evening Standard)
