Taylor Swift Threatens To Sue Guitar Instructor

Taylor Swift's team is none too pleased with her former guitar instructor.  Ronnie Cremer, a computer tech and part-time musician, is being asked to shut down the site touting the domain name itaughttaylorswift.com, which Cremer purchased from Go Daddy. He told the New York Daily News, "I almost feel like [Swift's legal team] were trying to bully me a little bit" because his site "incorporates the famous Taylor Swift trademark in its entirety and suggests TAS's sponsorship or endorsement of your website." The letter continued to outline how it could "tarnish the famous Taylor Swift trademark. Swift's fanbase has reportedly sent Cremer a ton of hate mail denouncing him as a liar and saying that their beloved ring leader would never fabricate her history. (Swift's tale centers around a "magical twist of fate" when Cremer asked to teach her guitar after fixing a family computer. Cremer says her family sought him out.)  Whatever the truth is, Cremer's not giving up. "I would like to develop it," he told The Daily News. "It's really not going to be a for-profit website. I've got nothing to sell on it. It's going to be an informational website that basically lets people know what really happened."  Either way, there's bound to be some teardrops on a guitar. No telling whose tears, though. (New York Daily News)
