Watch Lena Dunham Rock “Fat Bottomed Girls” In Lip Sync Battle With Jimmy Fallon

Lip syncing certainly seems to be having a moment right now, thanks in part to the ratings "Wrecking Ball" that is Spike's Lip Sync Battle, and Girls creator, writer and star Lena Dunham is getting in on the fun with long-standing-lip-syncing-supporter Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. Dunham came to win, strutting onto the stage in a sporty black-and-white Nike outfit: "I wanted to take this seriously and I needed room to flex," she explained. Fallon, who called the actress "a worthy opponent," kicked off the competition with an impassioned version of Charlene's 1982 hit, "I've Never Been to Me," that Dunham called "beautiful" before launching into her first ditty, Calvin Harris' "Outside." And while Fallon's next selection, "Run's House" by Run-DMC, was energetic and imminently watchable, it was Dunham's booty-shaking performance of Queen's "Fat Bottomed Girls" that clearly gave her the win. "Queen?! I can't beat Queen!" Fallon cried as the audience roared for Dunham. But Jimmy, we're truly glad that you tried. Watch the complete competition below, and if you need a little more singing-and-dancing Lena when you're through, we offer you this still-amazing video of the Girls creator dancing to pal Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" on Instagram.
