Your old running shoes might have a longer lifespan than you think. Shape spoke with sports medicine doctor, Jordan Metzl, MD who says, “The half-life of running shoes has gotten longer as shoe technology has improved, particularly in the mid-sole of shoes. What used to die after about a month now lasts many months without a problem.” Shape explains you can keep a pair of running shoes until they feel uncomfortable.

With summer approaching, sweaty season is around the corner. And, while sweating is a normal bodily process that needs to happen, there are some ways to curb the process. For starters, you can run your wrists under cold water, which can help your body cool down more quickly.
