Grown-Up Glitter Eye Makeup Does Exist — Here's Proof

If there's one thing we admire about Chanel, it's how they're able to weave decadence throughout their own DNA. (Heck, even grocery shopping can be glam once Chanel-ified.) As such, we were not surprised, but still swooning upon seeing the unabashedly over-the-top eye makeup at the brand's spring 2014 haute couture show.

The look featured lower lids lined like we'd never seen, with chunky, sparkly, fit-for-an-art-project glitter. Needless to say, the magpie within us was immediately awakened. We just had to find out how we, too, could achieve this striking iridescent eye. So, we turned to makeup pro James Vincent. Might his endless bag of tips and tricks be the key to making this look work off the runway? Watch as our director of business intelligence, Shawna, gets her glitter on.
