Dig In & Rock Out At This Year’s Sound Bites Fest

sounbitesslide
At the top of our to-do lists this summer: Enjoy delish food at a new-to-us local restaurant, hear some good tunes at a live show, and set aside some time to give back to our community. While D.C. isn’t short on opportunities to do any one of these activities, you can nail the trifecta in one fell swoop on Sunday at Sound Bites.
This outdoor food and music festival is put on by D.C. Central Kitchen and hosted by the 9:30 Club. Some of our favorite local restaurants will serve up all-you-can-eat heaven, including Black Salt, Mie N Yu, and Matchbox, and there will be live music from Eric Hilton of Thievery Corporation, Batala, and Bone Fur and Feathers. The $40 ticket price covers all food and music — and better still, 100% of the proceeds from Sound Bites go to D.C. Central Kitchen. Purchase yours here.
When: Sunday, May 20, at 5 p.m.
Where: 9:30 Club, 815 V Street NW.
