Party On! Daphne Guinness & Friends Clink Drinks As the English It Girl Brings Scent to the Big Screen
The Gods of Fashion Week are already squeezing every smidge of time right out of us, but when we heard punky English rose Daphne Guinness was headed to town to reveal her latest project--a new short film inspired by her eponymous scent for Comme Des Garcons--we had to swing by. Hamish Bowles, Margherita Missoni, and other assorted pals all came out to toast Guinness' new art project titled Mnemosyne, which as the stud-clad auteur explained, reveals her belief that scent and memory are intertwined. We didn't get a chance to sample the fragrance, but we do have a link to her mini-film. Could the infinitely cool Guinness be on her way to a directorial career (in super soaring heels, of course)? Hope so.
