Celebrate Geeks And Treats With A Pi(e) Day Benefit

pie-dayslide
Seeing that Wednesday is National Pi Day — oh wait, you didn't know about this? — blogger/baker extraordinaire, Emily Hilliard of Nothing In the House, is teaming up with Radio CPR DJs to host a Pi(e) Day benefit party in Mount Pleasant on Wednesday. You know, because March 14 is 3.14. (Get it now?)
This pastry party is billed as "a celebration of community, pie, and nerdy mathematics," so expect live music, DJs, a pie walk, and all-you-can-eat pie. A $5 donation gets you in the door, and benefits the community-powered radio station at 97.5. Sounds pretty delish right? Yeah, it doesn't take a math wiz to know this is a sweet deal.
When: Wednesday, March 14, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: St. Stephen & the Incarnation Episcopal Church, 1525 Newton Street NW; 202-232-0900.
