The winners of this year's Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation awards basically reads like a who's who of designers we love to cover. The field of 165 designers in the running was narrowed down to 7 lucky ducks by a judging committe that included some serious fashion folk—think Sally Singer, Christopher Bollen, Julie Gilhart, and Ken Downing. In the women's design category, the recipients include The Lake & Stars, M. Patmos, Mandy Coon, and Bibhu Mohapatra, while Native Son nabbed the men's design category. For accessories, our girl Pamela Love took the top prize, and STUDY NY grabbed the trophy in sustainable design category. Each of these fine gals and girls took home a $25,00 grant to present a show this February at New York Fashion Week. If past winners are anything to go by—Prabal Gurung, Zac Posen, Derek Lam—we're pretty sure 2011's crop are going to put on one hell of a show next month.
