Save Your Hair From Humidity Hell

Summertime is the best — spending long days at the beach, enjoying free concerts in the park, sipping on rosé at outdoor happy hours...you catch our drift. But there are a few downsides to this lovely time of year — and one of them is humidity. It's not only uncomfortable, but it can cause some major hair issues. In fact, it can turn our carefully coiffed tresses into a frizz-for-all.

Thankfully, a few choice products on the market can help you protect your hair from moist air. Check out some of our favorites in the following slides.

This product comes highly recommended from a friend who, after living in toasty Puerto Rico for the majority of her life, knows a good anti-frizz product when she sees one. DevaCurl’s Styling Cream is loaded with moisturizing and humidity-fighting ingredients, including panthenol, hops, wheat protein, and jojoba. Although it's best for curly-haired girls, it also works wonders to promote natural hold and eliminate frizz for those with straight or wavy locks.

We all know that argan oil has dozens of uses for both your skin and hair (and sex life?!), and while we're all for the quirky and surprising things this wonder can do, our favorite is still to use it as a moisturizer to help mend split ends and eliminate frizz. With this one from John Masters Organics, you can rest easy knowing you've got 100% of the good stuff and no filler.
