NYT.) But to aesthetically lump all young, alternative, creatively minded people in one flannel-clad, bearded category is totes unfair. The hipster rainbow contains more hues than chambray and plaid, and while the
general community all might enjoy a good skinny jean and cold-brewed coffee, there are definitely distinct clans.
Speaking from a largely Brooklyn-dwelling staff, we've done a little self survey on the types of hipsters that make up the borough in the form of charming, hand-drawn illustrations by designer David Galletly.
