We've loved watching Brooklyn-based designer, Gretchen Jones, as she's evolved from Project Runway winner to NYC staple. And, for her latest collection, she's taken a step Eastwards from her usual spirited, rustic Americana threads, putting one well-heeled foot into a magical dream jungle. Yes, for her fall '13 lookbook, Jones has outfitted a model for a romp through nighttime foliage, a place where drop waists, cobalt blues, and long peplum skirts are welcome but basic pieces are decidedly not. We're especially digging the cream bark print and the pattern mixing that looks so effortless it might just become our new native garb, too; After all, NYC is the concrete jungle that never sleeps.
