Beachside photoshoots are something of a mystery to us—we imagine lots of sun, surf, palms, and fruity beverages, and just a smudge of work. However, Garance Doré captured behind-the-scenes of the Peter Lindbergh-shot campaign for David Yurman fall 2010, and shows that plenty of hard work goes into making pictures that feel so damn relaxing. Kate Moss acted as the leading lady, but we know the real protagonists were the jewelry—with white diamonds and mixed metals set against blackened rhodium, the jewels were created to mimic Paris at night, and aptly named "Midnight Melange". Kate Moss, a deserted beach, David Yurman, and midnight in Paris? It doesn't get more romantic than that!
