Wear Your Heart On Your Feet: You're Going to Flip Out Over These Flops!

Pardon us if you feel it's TMI, but we're going to give you some full disclosure on our feet: They're repeat offenders in a very unacceptable way. We've donned a single pair of Havaianas to the beach for the past five years flat! And while we love 'em, the only excuse we can offer up for our lone soles is that it's tough out there in the world of flops. We're sure you agree: Finding a pair that suits your style (sans the tacky factor) requires a lot of footwork, right? But whether we want to admit it or not, rubber sandals are a summer wardrobe staple, so it's important to diversify our peds' portfolio.

Well, we're proud to announce that new site Sandalista, is here to help us step it up — and the possibilities are endless. This innovative e-tailer allows you to choose a cool design for your flip-flops from a slew of amazing artists. Plus, the best feature, you can even upload your own images onto the sole! We've got a whole gallery of some Stephen Campbell renderings ready to be snatched-up and slipped-on (the L.A. collage highlights some of our fave spots to rock flops), but we're thinking some Tom Ford cat-eyes or Instagrammed pics of the Lala skyline would also speak for our feet just fine. What would you emblazon on the bottom of your new pair? Let us know in the comments below!

3 Floral Dress DIYs That Anyone Can Master

We live in dresses all summer long. Repeat that three times. But, despite the abundance of sweet frocks hanging in our closets, we still search and search for something fresh to appear. You know, a new dress that fits effortlessly and doesn't leave us scrambling for rent money. So, we decided to take matters into our own hands and make that dream dress ourselves — yes, make one.

By picking up a seemingly ill-fitting, thrift-shop throwaway and crafting it just so, you can end up with your sartorial soul mate for a fraction of the price you'd pay at your favorite boutique, thanks to our amazing DIY team. To keep it simple, we eliminated the bells and whistles (and jump rings, and fancy clasps) and replaced them with just one necessary tool: your household scissors. The result? Three one-of-a-kind frocks and the bragging rights to say "I made it myself."

Click through for a trio of super-easy floral dress DIYs and expand your wardrobe 3-fold.

Street Style: A Comfy-Casual Look For Summer Nights

Nina-Young-(student)_TracyWangembed

As the weather heats up, layers tend to come off and skirts tend to get shorter. But that doesn't always have to be the case. When we saw Nina Young's covered-up yet still summery look, we knew it was not only comfortable, but also a great evening outfit for when the sun goes down on summer nights. Yes, it still gets chilly! With light fabric, layers are still a great option and allow you to play with pieces of your wardrobe from every season. Plus, we love the idea of using a maxi skirt as a laid-back option to help transition from morn to midnight. And, it's soooo easy to pack (weekend getaways, anyone?). We think get-up is boho but still styled to perfection. But what say you? A little too hippy or awesomely understated? Tell us in the comments below!

Five Ways To Wear Gentlemanly Garb — & Still Look Hot…

While it's a cinch to master the technicolor trend, and even its crisp-white polar opposite, it can be tricky to nail summer's sure-to-be-top theme: androgyny as inspired by Annie Hall.

Unless you're Gisele, it can be tough to rock baggy jeans and button-ups without looking downright frumpy (or dripping with sweat when the temps soar). So, to save you from that man trap, we've dressed you head to toe in five divine dude-inspired looks, each with its own helpful hint for staying glam. From the perfect short suit to debonair denim, these are some seriously covetable looks, and you'd better tell your chap to keep his paws off!

Go ahead, take a peek, score some swing-both-way sundries, and dress like a bloke who's anything but broke.

Swimsuit season is nigh, and it's time to get that beach wardrobe in check. We're going all kinds of crazy for Beth Richards, a brand new, totally classic swimwear line out of Canada. These one-pieces are so popular that the debut collection is flying off the (virtual) shelves over at Net-a-Porter.

The best part? We're giving away one of these one-shouldered "Audrey" swimmies to you, our reader! Tell us who your favorite classic bathing suit beauty is below (get creative!) and you could be the proud new owner of a Beth Richards swimsuit.

Beyonce Shows SoFlo Some Bikini Love On Her Super Personal Tumblr

beyonce_tumblrBasically, whatever Beyonce says, goes. The starlet is a walking magnet for trends, some of which we love her for (beautiful bouncy curls, animal print everything, that Met Ball dress) and some of which we question ("Blue Ivy"…), but regardless, her reign over the diva domain is uncontested. So to see the Queen B showing South Florida some love in her recent Tumblr pictures is a mega-thrill. She rocks her Luli Fama’s Delirio bikini in a new photo — appropriately accessorized with a neon scuba mask for some extra island flava. Of course, she looks amazing, with the orange and white accents of the bikini (and the stunning blue water) emphasizing all the gorgeous that is her body.

Best known for the flattering fit of its beachwear, Luli Fama has tons of other sexy bikini options for you to grab and wear all summer long, and if you want to scoop one up locally just hightail it to Bikini Village in Miami Beach. Getting her look might be easy, but wearing it with such star appeal…well, that's a whole other story.

14 Chic Blouses To Help You Survive Your 9-to-5 In Breezy Style

Summer in D.C. typically means one thing: heat. And not the idyllic, breezy, margarita-in-hand kind, either. We're talking about the kind that forces you to bring a change of clothes for your commute to work. And as much as we would love to brave the outside (read: non air-conditioned) world in nothing more than a beach wrap, we still have to adhere to that whole "business attire" thing at the office.

Luckily, this season is rife with blouses that are put-together enough for your office ensemble, but lightweight enough to keep you (relatively) cool. We can't get enough of the pretty pastels, lovely florals, and eye-catching neons littering the interwebs these day. Oh, and the best part? Just swap your demure bottoms for a sultry bodycon skirt, and you're ready for a night out. Hot child in the city, indeed.

These Armani Shades Will Make You A Movie Star (Or At Least Look Like One)

Sunglasses are the apex of cool, which might be why we love them so much in the 305. (Well, that, and perhaps the blinding, blazing sun...) And nothing says a summer more than than a rockin' tan and a pair of super luxe shades, which is why Giorgio Armani's ultra-iconic editorial is making us glad the rain is finally slowing.

Whether you're shielding the glare of flashing lights (paparazzi anyone?) or hiding those morning-after eyes, Armani's freshly launched retro-inspired shades are the modern take on a classic summer essential. Taking cues from the French New Wave classic La Nouvelle Vague, the cinematic lookbook images capture the enduring class of Armani's Frames of Life. With timeless key hole shapes and dark, round frames (plus that Armani touch of luxury), we're sure you'll make a spectacle wherever you decide to jet-set this summer!

Click through to peep the gorgeous shades and become an icon beach babe this summer!
