Beyoncé & Jay Z Renewing Their Vows Could Mean One Thing

Hey divorce rumors! Beyoncé and Jay Z have seen your speculation and raised you a renewed vows ceremony.

A source close to the first couple confirmed the news to People. "They did have major problems," they said. "But, they worked it out and they've renewed their vows."

This isn't the first time the Knowles-Carters have put another ring on it. They renewed their vows on their fourth wedding anniversary in April 2012. However, not all renewed commitments work in the couple's favor.

Often, these ceremonies have been seen as the kiss of death to a celebrity marriage. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon renewed their vows every year, only to have split up this past summer. Heidi Klum and Seal went through the same thing 2012.

While the following nine couples (not including the Knowles-Carters) have seen their vows fall by the wayside, People's source offers hope that Bey and Jay don't follow suit, adding: "They worked it out for [the sake of] their reputations and for [their 2-year-old daughter] Blue Ivy."
