United Colors of Benetton has made its name as the brand that embraces all colors while promoting social change. Its January campaign was true blue, featuring a far-and-wide diverse group of models that have each overcome prodigious hurdles. Among the group was Lea T — the transgender model who's inspired us with her story and success. Now, here's another reason we can't get enough.
Benetton has recently released T-shirts — or rather, Lea T-shirts — featuring a full-body shot of the model (and other familiar faces like Charlotte Free and Dudley O'Shaughnessy) in timeless Benetton brights. Maybe not the most controversial of Benetton's campaigns, but we're digging these T-shirts nonetheless; they stay true to Benetton's urge for social awareness and equality. And with all proceeds of the shirts going to the Unhate Foundation, there's even more incentive to scoop up the Lea, front and (off) center, tees available directly on Benetton.
