By now, you've probably wondered what on earth we were all doing without the blessed FNO term in our fashion vocabulary. Just in its second season, Fashion's Night Out has not only exceeded its aim to become the industry's biggest night of local shopping events—it's become a phenomenon. This year, we were very proud and psyched to be partnering with CFDA doyenne Diane Von Furstenburg, co-hosting a tricked-out lounge created by HP, equipped with huge touch screens, blog feeds, and fantastic DVF products, ready to be purchased! By 6:30 pm, her Meat-packing boutique and adjoining gallery were packed to the gills. In fact, with so much Champagne-fueled foot traffic spilling out into the streets from surrounding boutiques, the early evening scene was more like Mardi Gras in full swing than Madison Avenue.
