Man Sees Purple For First Time - Video

In case you need a little pick-me-up this week, watch the following video of a colorblind man seeing, for the first time, the color purple. And pink. And green. Thanks to EnChroma glasses, which filter light to allow viewers to differentiate between colors, Ethan was finally able to see a purple Lysol bottle, green grass, and pink Post-its — all on his birthday. Watch below as he reacts, marveling over the newest colors in his vision. "It's pink! It's green! Is this purple?!" he exclaims. Pardon the swearing in the video; he's pretty excited.
