26 Things You Should Be Buying At Wegmans

Wegmans is a supermarket wonderland where everyone is always nice, the employees are always in a good mood, and the food is always top notch. (There's a reason it beat out Trader Joe's for the top ranking in the country this year.) Those in the East Coast and Mid-Atlantic regions might already know about its reputation for high quality food and wallet-friendly prices. But if you’re not familiar with the chain, it’s basically a mashup of Whole Foods’ fresh prepared foods; Trader Joe’s quirky, international vibe; and a normal supermarket store where you can get Cheerios and like, Advil. It’s all three things at once, which makes it better than basically any other store on the planet (not to be hyperbolic).
It’s hard to narrow down our favorite food items, especially when we have an entire kitchen filled with them, but these products rise to the top due to their snackability, versatility, and low price point.
Okay, let’s dive in.

27 Grains and Seeds Sandwich Bread
I don’t know why more places don’t offer half-loaves, because if you live by yourself, it’s almost impossible to finish an entire loaf of bread before it goes stale. Wegmans understands our pain. We’re happy to not waste food and finally finish a bag of bread (for once!).

Salsa con Queso Cheese Dip
This is a legit crowd pleaser. Just sling the dish in the microwave for a few minutes and serve with warm tortilla chips.

Speaking of cheese boards, this decadent French cheese is guaranteed to elevate yours. All of Wegmans’ bries are divine, but this one holds a special place in our heart for it’s pillowy texture and intense smoothness.

Truffle Salt
Just a pinch elevates boring veggies to wonderfully earthy new heights. Don’t be fooled by the teensy jar; this stuff lasts forever because just a few grains go a long way. And if you want to catapult your next cheese board to crazy heights, pick up a jar of their truffle honey for drizzling.

Mango Sorbet Bars
This is a great gluten-free, dairy-free tropical option when you want to cool down.

Basting Oil
This basting oil--organic sunflower oil infused with fresh herbs and garlic--is the Swiss Army Knife of our kitchen. It’s both versatile and it boosts the flavor of anything it touches. White Chocolate Toffee Mega Chunk Cookies
Even if you don’t love white chocolate and if you’re not a huge toffee fanatic, when they come together in cookie-form, they blow all the other cookies out of the water. Beware, because these bad boys are downright addictive.

There's a robust selection of sushi in all sorts of preparations, but we always gravitate towards these crabmeat- and avocado-only rolls. We wish they weren't called "skinny," but we love that they're stuffed to the brim, with way more meaty filling than your typical lunchtime sushi.
