chanel Chanel Face Tattoos: The Kaiser Will Sell Temporary "Beauty Marks"
If a full face of pink wasn't enough of a beauty look for you, Chanel will be offering their temporary face tat to really let you buy into that Marie-Antoinette-on-acid look without the commitment of an ear-length pastel bob. Made of velvet, the interlocking Cs will be selling their temporary beauty mark just like they sold those bracelets and sparrows from their spring '10 show. Mimic the show and place it below your left eye just like Marie Antoiniette's beauty mark, or stick it right above your lip for that Cindy Crawford flava (bonus points if you place it on your chin just like a certain global editor's). I use Laura Mercier Lip Balm pretty much every day. I hate the greasy feeling that some lip balms leave on your lips, and I hate how they dry out so you have to re-apply them a million times. This one doesn't do that at all and it gives just a hint of shimmer on your lips. The smell is light and refreshing instead of overpowering your mouth with menthol. It also has SPF 15 in it, which is always a plus because sunburnt lips are hellish.

I was wondering if you had any product suggestions for frizzy, shoulder-length hair. It's so poufy it makes me look like Hermione! — J

Hi J! Frizzy hair is the worst and it's especially prevalent this time of year. When your hair lacks moisture, it's more prone to going haywire in humidity, so you need to make sure it is properly hydrated.

Start off with a smoothing shampoo and conditioner that also has some reparative ingredients in it. I'm a big fan of Rahua's shampoo and conditioner, or try Pantene's Beautiful Lengths. Twice a week, be sure to use a restorative mask like Kérastase Nutritive Masqueintense. Finally, make friends with oils — they are the absolute best for smoothing down out-of-control strands. I love Shu Uemura Art of Hair Essence Absolue and Pureology's new Precious Oil. Rub a few drops between your palms, then smooth it down over any flyaways. If you're worried about hair looking greasy, focus the oils on the ends and just lightly run your hands over your roots.
